Project Summary

Using Wized, we developed a comprehensive learning management system designed specifically for marketing professionals.

One of the key aspects of the project is dynamic user flows that update based on the login status, ensuring a personalized experience for every user.

We also leveraged StudioForm, a SaaS built using Wized, to ensure a smooth onboarding for new users.

Overall, the migration to Wized has allowed us to overcome many limitations from the previous platforms and enabled us to build a new LMS that can now support over 50,000 students.

Cool Technical Features

  • Students can pick up from where they left off because video playback progress is automatically synchronized every 2 seconds.
  • We developed a new naming convention called “snake_folders” to ensure cohesive collaboration among different team members.
  • On the lesson pages, we split the database queries into 2 parts: the first is a quick query of the video file (which loads extremely fast) as its the most important element on the page, and the second query is a complex logic, as it requires all relevant data about the user's progress.
